ASHFALL maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward cheating. Prohibited activities include:

  • Aimbots.

  • Teleportation exploits.
  • Item duplication.
  • Unauthorized spawning.

1.4Account Responsibility

Players are responsible for activity conducted through their accounts. Account sharing to evade punishment is prohibited.

Players may not use alternate accounts to:

  • Circumvent bans.
  • Bypass faction limitations.
  • Avoid raid restrictions.
  • Evade disciplinary action.
  • Obtain additional protected storage or territory.

1.5Impersonation

Players may not impersonate:

  • Server owners.
  • Administrators.
  • Moderators.
  • Developers.
  • Official ASHFALL representatives.

Players may roleplay as fictional military personnel, police officers, or government survivors provided they do not claim actual administrative authority.

02PvP & Combat

2.1Open-World PvP

ASHFALL is a PvP-focused survival server. Kill on Sight (KOS) is permitted throughout the map except inside officially designated safe zones. Players do not need to provide warnings before attacking.

Permitted activities include:

  • Ambushes.
  • Sniping.
  • Armed robberies.
  • Hostile encounters.
  • Faction warfare.
  • Territory conflicts.
  • Roadblocks.
  • Bounty hunting.
  • Revenge attacks.
  • Raiding-related combat.

Players should assume that any encounter outside a safe zone may become hostile.

2.2Combat Logging

Combat logging is strictly prohibited. Combat logging occurs when a player intentionally disconnects to escape:

  • Active gunfire.
  • An ongoing pursuit.
  • An active robbery.
  • A hostile confrontation.
  • An ongoing raid.
  • Capture or detention.

Players experiencing genuine connection issues should report them if a dispute arises.

PunishmentWarning, temporary suspension, or escalating penalties for repeated violations.

2.3Spawn Camping

Players may not repeatedly target survivors at designated fresh-spawn locations solely to prevent them from entering gameplay. Prohibited behavior includes:

  • Repeatedly killing newly spawned players at spawn points.
  • Establishing permanent sniper positions specifically to farm fresh spawns.
  • Exploiting spawn mechanics to repeatedly kill the same survivor.

Normal PvP in coastal towns remains permitted. A player's fresh-spawn status does not automatically make them immune from combat.

03Safe Zones & Traders

3.1Official Safe Zones

Safe zones are designated areas where hostile player activity is prohibited. Official safe zones must be clearly marked through server announcements, map markers, or in-game systems.

Unless officially designated, no location is automatically considered safe.

3.2Prohibited Safe-Zone Activities

The following actions are prohibited inside safe zones:

  • Killing players.
  • Firing weapons at players.
  • Robbing survivors.
  • Taking hostages.
  • Stealing vehicles.
  • Destroying vehicles.
  • Raiding structures.
  • Placing explosives.
  • Deliberately blocking entrances.
  • Intentionally attracting infected to attack players.
  • Exploiting safe-zone protection.

3.3Safe-Zone Camping

Players may not exploit safe-zone boundaries to obtain unfair advantages. Examples include:

  • Waiting immediately outside the boundary to repeatedly attack departing traders.
  • Shooting into safe zones.
  • Retreating into safe zones to avoid an ongoing firefight.
  • Using safe-zone boundaries to protect vehicles during active combat.

A player involved in active combat may not intentionally enter a safe zone to escape the encounter.

3.4Trader Conduct

Players must respect official trader locations. The following actions are prohibited:

  • Blocking trader NPCs.
  • Intentionally obstructing transaction areas.
  • Exploiting trader prices.
  • Duplicating items through trading systems.
  • Abusing transaction bugs.
  • Deliberately trapping players inside trader buildings.

Raiders may destroy structures necessary to gain entry. However, unnecessary destruction is prohibited. Examples include:

Staff may investigate reports without video evidence.

16.3False Reports

Knowingly submitting fabricated evidence or intentionally false accusations is prohibited.

Good-faith reports will not be punished simply because a violation cannot be confirmed.

16.4Report Confidentiality

Reports should remain within official support channels. Players must not harass individuals involved in ongoing investigations.
